Americans Yearning To Breathe Free

Statue of Liberty National Monument
Emma Lazarus’ Famous Poem
A poem by Emma Lazarus is graven on a tablet
within the pedestal on which the statue stands.
The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give [...] Continue Reading…

Good Night America

All of these images were for an article on America, but it seems America has turned out the lights and gone to sleep. Ben Shalom Bernanke, Chairman of the United States Federal Reserve, now moves to further debase the $USD thus making any useful progressive economics total pie in the sky.

The United States of America currently experiences asset stripping by the United States Federal Reserve to cover bankers’ scams with the full cooperation and collusion of both political parties, the courts, the military and local law enforcement. Yes, local law enforcement, just like in any Banana Republic.

Through the so called War On Drugs, militarization of local law enforcement, the so called War On Terror and the further militarization of local law enforcement the United States of America now functions as an occupied country with local law enforcement, fully backed up by the United Stated Armed Forces, comprising a Force of Occupation.

As you once again renew your hope for sanity with a new congress in [...] Continue Reading…

Fundamental Religions Threaten Us All

The Islamic fundamentalist urge war upon Christians and Jews, Christian fundamentalists urge war upon Islamists and Zionists, and now we hear from fundamentalists of the third Abrahamic religion. What is it about the fundamentalist Old Testament religions that make them all so hateful and intolerant of others?

Does it really matter how faithful you are to any one of them when even if you make it to one fundamental Heaven you also qualify for 2 fundamental Hells?
Major rabbi says all we non-Jews are donkeys, created to serve Jews

By Khalid Amayreh –

A major Jewish religious figure in Israel has likened non-Jews to donkeys and beasts of burden, saying the main reason for their very existence is to serve Jews.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, spiritual mentor of the religious fundamentalist party, Shas, which represents Middle Eastern Jews, reportedly said during a Sabbath homily earlier this week that “the sole purpose of non-Jews is to serve Jews.”

Yosef is considered a major religious leader in Israel who enjoys the allegiance of [...] Continue Reading…

Catamite America

Metaphorically speaking, America takes another one up the poop chute with Bernanke as primary fudge packer. No images today, they would be pornographic and offensive.

Most of Europe put feet on the street to protest bank bailouts at the expense of the general public. Iceland voters just said no bank bailouts.

Meanwhile, in the good old United States of America, the bailouts are a done deal as we watch bankers and politicians swap seats and pat each other on the back while they all fill their pockets at our expense. Meanwhile:
As of yesterday:

Corn, 330 -> 508, a fifty four percent increase.

Wheat, 425 -> 694, a sixty three percent increase.

Soybeans, 893 -> 1125, a twenty-six percent increase.

Rice, 9.55 -> 12.55, a thirty-one percent increase.

Oats, 188 -> 344, an eighty-three percent increase.
The moves have already happened.  The debasement of the currency that Bernanke has foisted off on you as “good” by “supporting” the stock market has in fact led to some small support in the stock market.

But it [...] Continue Reading…

US Ponzi Final Fraud

William K. Black once again points out the obvious in:

Why Covering up Fraud Losses Impairs Economic Recovery
Part One:
The Unbearable Lightness of the Accounting Cover Up

While Mr. Black does an excellent job in explaining significant aspects of our current situation (and I do recommend you read it for that alone) it still seems somewhat naive to me. Over at the Market Ticker, Karl Denninger, picks up the chorus and makes a few of the implications very explicit.
I recommend you read Mr. Denninger as well. But the guy who puts a different spin on all of this is Eric deCarbonnel of MarketSkeptics.com, who just launched a new blog called The Final Fraud In The US Ponzi Scheme. He plans on charging for access to his big report but you can figure out most of it from what he gives away.
For me, the take away point is that the bankers are in many ways stooges, patsies and fall guys for the government. Just as certain as the [...] Continue Reading…
